本校では現在、4年生、5年生（後期課程高校１年生・２年生）で第２外国語等の選択授業を実施しています。
選択肢の中には、フランス語・スペイン語・ドイツ語・中国語・韓国朝鮮語という言語の選択に加え、Global Issues （英語で実施）やインフォマティクスもあります。生徒たちは基礎から学び始めますが、積極的にスピーチコンテストやスキットコンテストに参加し、入賞する生徒も例年います。
授業形態やトピックも様々な中、生徒たちは言語を通して多文化・他文化を経験しています。

来週の授業ではパリのメトロや交通機関を使って街歩きのプランをフランス語で作成します。
【Global Issuesの様子 】
The Global Issues (GI) course explores contemporary challenges through the lenses of current events, history, and political theory. Students engage with weekly readings and news media to better understand the causes, consequences, and competing perspectives surrounding major global issues. The course emphasizes informed discussion, evidence-based analysis, and connections between past and present. Students develop research, analytical, and communication skills while becoming more informed global citizens.
